Try the quote logic
This is the formula set from the Quote sheet, running in your browser. Change a number and the result updates. It runs on this page only; nothing is sent or stored. It is a pricing aid for your own thinking, not financial advice.

What is included
| File | What it is |
|---|---|
| Client-Delivery-Kit_Blank.xlsx | Nine working sheets plus a Start here sheet, empty. Dropdown lists, date checks and formulas are in place. |
| Client-Delivery-Kit_Worked-Example.xlsx | The same workbook filled in with a fictional bakery website, so you can see how it behaves. |
| Client-Message-Scripts.docx | Seven editable scripts: onboarding, missing assets, scope change, feedback request, approval, handoff, aftercare. |
| Project-Brief-Template.docx | A blank brief with deliverables, acceptance criteria, exclusions, dates and approval. |
| Quick-Start-Guide.pdf | Three pages: setup, workflow, worked example, common mistakes, reset instructions. |
| notion/ | Eight CSV files, three Markdown pages and an import guide. Not a one-click template; see compatibility below. |
| CHANGELOG.md, LICENSE.txt, README.txt | Version history, licence terms, file list and support details. |
The nine sheets
| Sheet | What you do there |
|---|---|
| 1 Inquiry | Record the lead, answer six Yes/No/Unsure fit questions, get a suggested next step. |
| 2 Brief | Objective, audience, deliverables with checkable acceptance criteria, exclusions, key dates. |
| 3 Quote | Assumptions, task hours and direct costs become a fee, expected profit, margin and an effective hourly rate. |
| 4 Scope changes | Log each out-of-scope request with extra hours, extra fee, days added and a decision. Summary shows what is still Pending. |
| 5 Revisions | One row per review round. Shows whether a round is within what you included. |
| 6 Assets | Fifteen starter items for logos, copy, images, access and approvals, with a share-in-hand figure. |
| 7 Status | Stage, owner, next action, due date, blocker, days overdue, days since the client last heard from you. |
| 8 Launch QA | Thirty-five checks across content, design, responsive, links and forms, accessibility basics, search basics, policies, hosting and creative files. |
| 9 Handoff | Nineteen tasks from final approval to aftercare, including removing your own access. |
Delete the checks that do not apply to your project and add your own. The lists are starting points, not a universal standard.
Previews of the actual files
These are renders of the worked-example workbook and the quick-start PDF, made from the files in the download. They are not mock-ups.
Compatibility, honestly
| Part | Opens in | What was and was not checked |
|---|---|---|
| Workbook (.xlsx) | Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc, Google Sheets (upload) | Formulas were recalculated in LibreOffice and compared with an independent calculation. The sheets were rendered and inspected. It was not opened in Excel or Google Sheets before release. In Google Sheets, check dropdowns and date formats after upload. |
| Documents (.docx) | Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice Writer | Built with python-docx and checked in LibreOffice. Fonts are Calibri; other apps substitute a similar font. |
| Guide (.pdf) | Any PDF reader | All pages inspected as images. |
| Notion (.csv, .md) | Notion import | No template link and no relations, rollups or buttons. Columns usually import as text, so you set Select and Date types yourself. Import was not run in a live Notion workspace for this release, and Notion changes its interface. |
Who it is not for
- Teams who need a CRM with pipelines, automation and shared contact history.
- Anyone who needs an invoicing or billing platform. There is no invoice sheet.
- Anyone expecting a legally drafted contract. The scripts and brief are not legal documents.
- Studios of more than five people who need several people editing one live database. The workbook is a file per project.
- Anyone who wants a one-click Notion template. The Notion files are imports.
- Anyone expecting a guaranteed result. The kit is a tool, and how it works for you depends on how you use it.
